About Kaimana BARROS

Being born and raised in Hawai’i, Kaimana was exposed to an abundant variety of climates and landscapes. His eye for framing beauty is charming, while his tone for story unveils humanity.

Kaimana began in the entertainment industry at the age of 15 after auditioning for Shakespeare’s McBeth at the local playhouse. After getting a talent agent, he was exposed to an industry ripe with dreams and opportunities. He continued his reach both in front and behind the camera; as well as learning how to balance the creative with the business.

Having worked as an entertainment publicist and production assistant in Hollywood, he brings a level of experience that is comforting to new crews.

Kaimana’s upbringing brought unique opportunity to be more creative in the middle of the pacific where resources are limited. He realized that being resourceful was the key to being a great producer. Utilizing his interpersonal skills and knack as a quick learner, Kaimana excels at manifesting conceptual ideas into tangible capabilities.
